So, Saturday is the last day of Gerard's. Bittersweet, to say the least. Chef has totally lost his passion & the Mr's glad this phase is over.
It's been a bit stressful, all the wondering about new job, holidays, one income.
But we're all good.
The Mr went in for a meeting today & he got hired. His wonderful talent of schmoozing & totally being the man, paid off. His reputation precedes him in the restaurant industry in G'vegas. SO he's now the service director & marketing consultant for a nice little restaurant. I'm proud of him. He really works his ass off & goes way above & beyond, it's paying off!
So YAY!!!

That is great news! When one door closes a window opens, you just have to stay open to the change. Tell Big Daddy we send our best!
Awesome. I'm sure that's a load off. Does he work days?
Sometimes during the day, just if he needs to meet for marketing purposes.
Wonderful, wonderful. I know both of you feel like a ton has been lifted. I certainly hope it's not as stressful and he can get some more time off.
